What to Expect

A native of Longview, Texas, Dr. Densmore came to Lubbock in 1989 to attend Texas Tech University.  She graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Zoology in 1993, and received her Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 1997.  With a strong background in contact lenses, ocular diagnosis and treatment, and laser vision correction co-management, Dr. Densmore moved back to the Lubbock area to practice.  After working at a nearby location for several years, she took over the current office location from Dr. Frank D. Butterfield, O.D., in 2001.  

Dr. Densmore is a member of The American Optometric Association, The Texas Optometric Association, and The South Plains Optometric Society.  She and her husband Lou Densmore (a professor of Biological Sciences at Texas Tech University) currently reside in Yellowhouse Canyon just north of Slaton, Texas.
